Tupac Enemies
We have all felt tupac's passion towards getting back at his enemies through his lyrics, Riding on his enemies, the mentioned enemies he had were all mentioned throughout his music. This was part of the reason he was such a great talent, he showed alot of raw emotion that turned into passion in his music. Without some of these people doing what they have done to make tupac mad, who knows what songs wouldn't of been created. My two favourites have to be Biggie Smalls and Delores Tucker Beefs. -j
Biggie Smalls
This all started in 1994 after 2Pac was shot in New York. He blamed Biggie and Diddy for setting him up to be shot. Before this happened 2Pac and Biggie were friends and 2pac even let biggie sleep on his couch and helped him with his rap, telling him to rap for the bitches not the niggas . Before Biggie got huge, 2Pac used to let Biggie rap with him at shows and gave Biggie the start which he needed to ultimately become famous. A week before Pac was shot Biggie stated that the company he was hanging around with were not cool. These guys were King Tut and Jacques Agnant who were members of the Black Mafia which supposedly financed Bad Boy Records. Even Mike Tyson called up 2Pac and said they were bad guys. When 2Pac was inside jail people were tellin him how it was Biggie's home fry who got him shot at and Pac also stated this. By this time he was pissed off and then while still in jail Biggie copied 2Pac by coming out with an album which was identical to his album so he had to change it. 2Pac never said Biggie was responsible for the shooting but it was his feeling he knew he knew. He was also pissed because Biggie was rapping about money, jewelry and the parties while Biggie never achieved any of this yet. 2Pac was trying to point out Biggie was a phonie, this helped fued the West vs East war. After Tupac's death there were rumors that Biggie wanted to do a song called "Dig Him Up Man" dissing 2Pac by telling people that really thought Tupac was alive they could dig him up.
Bad Boy Records / Puff Daddy aka P. Diddy
Pac hated Puffy because he was with Biggie at all times, and they were competition to Death Row(West vs East). Death Row were planning to form Death Row East to try and take over the rap game coast to coast but Puffy didn't want this. At an industry awards ceremony Suge Knight showed his frustration with BadBoy perfectly when he said "If anyone want to come to a record company were they don't want the executive producer dancing, singing all up in the videos come to Death Row." Puffy used his other artists to promote himself indirectly in the music like a dj. Puff hardly wrote his own lyrics and his lyrics were usually lame when he did. 2Pac also said that Puffy was involved in the NewYork shooting because Puffy's company was meant to be financed by the people who shoot at him and 2Pac was carrying a gun at the time so if he pulled it out he would get shot so they could make it look like a robbery.
Lil Kim
Lil' Kim once stated that Bad Boy Records did a song dissing Tupac but they never released it after Tupac's death. The song did not feature Biggie in it; it was Lil' Kim and Junior M.A.F.I.A.
Dr. Dre
This beef all began when Snoop Dog was on trial for murder. One of the witnesses said that Dr Dre was in the vehicle and if he had appeared in court he could have testified but he stated that he was too busy. This made 2Pac mad because he thought that Dre wasn't showing loyalty to his friend Snoop and to Death Row camp. He was also pissed because Dre had never really produced nothing since The Chronic and was still making lots of money off of Death Row. Then one minute Dre was talkin' that he was all Gangsta. 2Pac also said that he got Dre kicked outta Death Row Records but Dre said that he wasn't happy with the violence that surrounded Death Row and that at one point someone was beaten up for rewinding a tape too far. In the song "Toss It Up" 2Pac calls Dr Dre gay and again in "To Live & Die In L.A.". But Dre said at the "The Up In Smoke Tour" in 2000 that it was a pleasure to work with 2Pac. 2Pac also claims Dre cheated on his wife.
Mobb Deep
Before Pac was sent to jail he did an article for Vibe talking about what "Thug Life" is. While he was in jail he heard Mob Deep on the station sayin' "Thug Life, We Still Livin' It." So Pac sent his homies to a Mob Deep show and they start screaming out "Thug Life" but no one even acknowledged this so 2Pac took this as a further insult. 2Pac didn't consider Mob Deep to be on the same level as him and he thought he was on a Higher Level than them. He even dissed them because one of them has sickle cell. Mob Deep retaliated with the song "Drop a Gem on Em."
Nas
I am not sure the exact details on how this rivalry began but on The 7 Day Theory at the beginning in Bomb First (My Second Reply) 2Pac says Nas is the ring leader in an attempt to assinate 2Pac. Nas was trying to be tupac in the way he acted and rapped . Nas saying how he got shot just like tuPac and in the video for "Hate Me Now" him and Puff Daddy are disrespecting Pac by being Crucified at the start just like the cover of The 7 Day Theory, they also dressed up like 2Pac and did the pour out the liquor like Pac and Dre did on the California Love Remix. Nas used to diss Tupac all the time but after his death he stopped.
Chino XL
This all began with Chino saying that 2Pac was raped in jail. 2Pac dissed him a bit in the song Hit 'Em Up bit not much because he felt that Chino wasn't a rap factor enough and dissing him would only make him happy.
Wendy Williams
Wendy Williams said that 2Pac was raped in jail. Listen to the unreleased song "Why U Turn On Me?" he really gives it to her in this song. All of the way through the songs he calls her fat and talks about fat farms for her to live.
LL Cool J
This started when Biggie had a song called "Who Shot Ya" and LL Cool J came out with "I Shot Ya". LL disses everyone because hes delussional arrogant thinking hes the best rapper ever. 2Pac never gave LL any reason to diss him and even praised him in "Old School." 2Pac wrote "L'il Homies." which took shots at LL.
Jay-Z
This began when Jay-Z appeared on the song "New York's Finest" with Biggie which dissed Pac. Jay-Z was close friends to Biggie and appeared on many of the Bad Boy albums. 2Pac responded by dissing Jay-Z on "Bomb First (My Second Reply)," "Against All Odds" and "All Out." Even though they were enemies while pac was alive at some award show when Jay-Z got his award and said "2Pac 4 Eva" which shows he truly respected 2pac.
Dan Quayle
This began when Dan was Vice-President and during his election campaign gave a speech saying "2acalypse Now" had no place in today's society. During all of his court cases and trouble 2Pac said Dan Quayle was the thing that bothered him the most and he dissed him on his next album "Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z."
The Fugees
The Fugees began dissing 2Pac in many interviews. Wyclef started it all by speaking all down about 2Pac then the other two fugees began to diss him as well. 2Pac hit back with the unreleased song "When We Ride Our Enemies."
Delores Tucker
Delores Tucker filed a $10 million Law Suit against 2Pac because she said his lyrics on "All Eyez On Me" were degrating to africans and society She also said 2Pac's music was pornographic smut. 2Pac mentioned her on "Picture Me Rollin" and "Wonder Why They Call U Bitch" and dissed her on "How Do U Want It."
