After watching Assassination I have a whole new concept on who and how Tupac's death has occured. It is pretty clear by all the documentation and proof this documentary provides that the ever seemingly never ending investigation is likely going to be concluded pretty soon as more information is brought to the forefront. It seems as more time passes more people are speaking up about what has happened and what is not being said, I would make a prediction that within the next couple years we see who is responsible being brought forward and held accountable. This movie really points the finger alot at the Las Vegas authorities, Fbi and other law agencies as they are constantly giving new leads and information and never take action on it, as these movies keep on popping up it is going to put more pressure on the law enforcement to ultimately make an arrest. This is a great Tupac documentary to watch for any Tupac fan, I highly suggest you pick up a copy of this and take the 3 hours and watch it, it will likely have you come to new conclusions.
Some of the stronger points were proven by bodyguards that Tupac had, alot of them are coming to the forefront and telling tails of mislead information or uknown discrepancies in details leading up to Tupac's death. Lets take a look at some interesting points made in the movie.
- Orlando Anderson being in Vegas was planned / he was a decoy
- Tupac was only receiving 5,000 dollars every Friday from Death Row Accounting even though he was owed millions.
- Reggie Wright was owner of Wright Ways security and was on paper Death Row Records business partner but Suge denied this even though its on paper.
- Everything carried out followed the rules on how to Execute a Assasination
- Reggie Wright held a meeting on the day of Tupac's Death to tell all security they were not allowed to have their weapons.
- Since Tupac's death over 8 witnesses have been murdered and the last being in 2002 which was a guy who was with Reggie Wright at a gas station and Reggie was inside paying for the bill, they figure that they probably shot the wrong guy and that Reggie was the target and this would ultimately lead to completing the last step of how to Execture a perfect Assasination (killing the actual person who assasinated the target). This would lead people to beleive that the whole murder was a deep plot that included Suge being shot or that Reggie Wright was planning on pulling something similar to what Suge Knight pulled on Harry O by taking Death Row records from underneath him as Suge had so much trust in Reggie that he had the business put in his name. Throughout the movie the security guards make it apparant that Reggie was telling them different orders then Suge had said and making them lie to Suge.
- Tupac was planning to release Makavelli Records and had a heated arguement with Suge about leaving Death Row and starting it, he was even trying to steal the master copies of all the albums. Death Row was in major debt and the only thing that kept them afloat and dealing with Interscope records was the fact that they had possession to the master copies.
- Outlawz were planning on being signed under Makavelli Records.
-Ultimately Tupac was sick of Suge Knight and Death Row records as he paid to have Death Row Records audited weeks before his death, he was quoted as saying days before his death by his bodyguard that: A) He was a dead man walking (likely from confronting Suge about leaving Death Row and taking his master copies which was the only thing holding Death Row to Interscope records) and B) that he did not even want to go to Las Vegas to meet Suge for the Mike Tyson fight after the events that took place. This also explains the famouse birdseye view picture of Tupac in his dying hours in a Bmw with Suge where he looked really sad and not himself (hes out of place forsure in this picture like he knew his death was coming) Likely Tupac new his demise was coming days before and like Beenie Siegel sings "I can feel it in the air".
In this case A) Tupac new things were spiralling for the worst and B) Suge Knight and Reggie Wright new they had to do something or the days of being king of the hill were over as they piled up huge ammounts of debt (something like 114 million dollars as they were paying laywers, 3 curupt police officers on the payroll, unpaid artists and the list goes on), which they likely were not a legit business on the books and knew they had to do something that required alot of planning (much like your modern day assassination as the movie entails).
- Suge Knight evaded alot of suspect speculation by having a heated gang war look like it was the reason for Tupac's death (this included 8 deaths in compton that were related from Tupacs death.
There is alot more stuff that was worthy of mention but I do not have the time to go into 3 hours of that much detail, so you should buy the movie and watch it yourself. It's a great movie!
